Factory manufactured, charged and hermetically sealed, 5 lb or less. All three conditions.

Recovery: working compressor

90 percent with post-1993 equipment.

Recovery: dead compressor

80 percent with post-1993 equipment — or 4 inches of mercury vacuum either way.

Dead compressor access

Install BOTH high and low side access valves; nothing can move refrigerant across.

Mail-in Type I

Cannot count toward Universal. Neither can an open-book Core test.
